It's crazy how we have our rational brain that says, "I won't let this bother me," but then the emotional brain allows it to bother us anyway. I'm sure it would be much easier to not let him or what he's done to you bother you if he'd just leave you alone. But he keeps randomly messaging you, forcing himself back into your brain. You say you aren't the best at telling people how you feel, but you've told him in so many different ways (some directly, some indirectly) that he's hurt you and you aren't interested in continuing on with any sort of relationship with him. He's the one who pretends to apologize, pretends to understand, but then persists anyway, only to leave you confused and wondering what it all means and why he keeps doing it. It's really unfair to you. ☹️
