Feeling pretty low at the moment, alot of things seem to be getting on top of me/us at the moment.

Just when I think we have fixed one problem we find another - like arranging a cleaner, for her then to be really unreliable and never knowing which weeks she is going to turn up - so finding myself cleaning at the weekend only for her to turn up on ( Read more... )

Yes it does! *big hugs* all round! I suppose that's the difference between children and cats - when Frankie wakes up for a cuddle in the middle of the night, I lock him in the kitchen!!

Too true - I don't count the cat interuptions as I ignore them completely.
But Izzy was shaking and very cuddly, not a happy baby :(
It happens so rarely these days though that it throws me for six - if she does it tomorrow it is Damo's turn!

Be kind to yourselves, working and having a family means that some of the domestic stuff has to slide....unless I'm just lowering my standards to new unplumbed depths ;)

Food planning, I've never cracked this one...we eat the same meals often!
Packed lunches are pedestrian and dull but cheaper than buying out.

Decluttering, impossible with a small person I try to corral the mess into piles of similarly themed objects.

I'm sorry its making you unhappy though, and sack off the cleaner!

I did wonder ;)
I' OK with the brightly coloured beeping toddler stuff that is invading the lounge and sneaks under your feet to cripple you on the way to the kitchen.
We just need to sort out the grown up stuff!
Good job the TV is starting to get rubbish!

Find a better cleaner. Will help with a lot of the stress (and ignore the mess!)

one dilema fixed - note through the door from cleaner (next door neighbour) saying she has taken on too much and isn't going to be able to do it any more!
Woot

Excellent. Gives you a clear conscience to look for a better one.
