The Son of Dawn has come to Amber, borne on the wings of strange auguries and dark portents.  Is it wrong, then, that I am glad to see him?  I had forgotten how his presence soothes me.

I traveled to the Oisen with the Priestess, my brother and another man.  Such a blighted place...
