Weeeeell, at least the set up's nice! Points to the coders for an A+ job!
[Assuming there were coders, of course, but Mireille's not going to argue specifics by herself at a dinner party of all places.]

Oh, Mireille! It is really well-done, isn't it?

Silabus! You're enjoying the party, too?

Right?
Wrong.
However, she's appreciative of the outfit. Thinks she looks rather fetching in it, too. So have her leaning forward against the railing of the ship, toying with the rose she's been given and rather admiring the view.
She's free all evening, gents. ]

...Because Kageno barely qualifies as one. He'll be shuffling up next to you, similarly... admiring views. Not that he's remarkable enough to really notice, and the dark clothing doesn't help him to stand out at all.
...He's not particularly good at conversation, either, so hopefully you don't mind him just standing there and. Uh. Breathing.]

But whatever, he'll come over to chill with you guys Bayonetta (and completely overlooks Kageno in the process)]
Fancy running into you here.
[EITHER OF YOU ARE FREE TO REPLY awww yis]

There's a teeny smile curling on her lips, however. Nothing like a familiar face. ]
Indeed. I didn't think you were one for these social shindigs.

It didn't take a genius to figure out they were no longer in snowy mountain terrain. ]
Excuse me... Do you know where the nearest church is--?
Hello? Sir--!
[ And he's chasing NPCs around hopelessly. ]
Please, if someone could point me in the right direction? I'm an apprentice bishop!

Hmmm maybe that person is lost too?
[She is kind of happy that someone is lost as well, but she knows its wrong to think like that. She immediately makes her way to the voice- that person may be the only conversable one around these npcs. She then reaches the harbor and finds a stranger. As she watches him chasing the npcs, she hesitantly introduces herself to this stranger before she gets dizzy.]
Erm... Hi, I'm Maka and I'm erm.. Also lost... And erm... Just to make sure, you aren't an npc, right?
Reply
But oh. What now? ]
Oh! Hello Maka; I'm Teito! It's nice to meet you. What's an n-p-c?
Reply
Erm.. Well, basically an npc is a person who won't answer your question.. And erm, basically they don't have a mind of their own..
Anyways, nice to meet you, Teito, I hope we can be friends!
[Maka extends her hand, tilts her head a little and smiles. Hopefully he won't think that a stranger asking to be friends out of the blue is weird..]

[Perhaps you'll find him wandering around looking for some food that fits to his tastes, or sitting down and playing with the long knives he had been given once arriving into the world, maybe even eyeing other players to see if he can find other things that are worth pick pocketing them- whichever you find him doing, he doesn't stick with it for long. A prince has to keep entertained, after all, and sitting still is never fun.]

It felt strange, attending such a party on his own, but what else was he to do? His one teammate had long since disappeared, and despite all of the friendly people he'd encountered over the past while in The World, he'd never really gotten close to anyone-- not like he had with his teammates at Teikoku, or in Neo Japan.
Troublesome.
The King of Goalkeepers was a nobody here, which was on the whole quite disappointing. He could build his reputation in other ways, of course, but it just wasn't the same! What was a guy to do?
Stand around on a boat, dateless but looking cool and stoic, he supposed. What a bore.]

Hey!
[and he waves cheerfully to the brooding Genda before liberating a drink (or two) from a passing waiter to offer the kid] C'mon, don't look so bored. It's not that bad.
Reply
[Genda takes the drink gratefully, smiling a bit thinly back at Fayt.] Ah. Did I look bored? I've been to a ton of these back home, so really... it's hard to get enthused, I guess. [A noncommittal shrug, and he takes a sip of the drink.] ...Hn. What're you doing here?

And I know what you mean. Kinda. I've only gone to one or two, but that's because my parents hardly have the time to accept those invitations.
