[Genda, being the spoiled rich brat that he was, was no stranger to fancy parties. The only thing that really bothered him was the rather-- unique take on the outfits that was taken this time around. What on earth were all the gears and crap for? Heavy junk, he decided, but left it as it was-- too much trouble prying it off to really have much of a draw.

It felt strange, attending such a party on his own, but what else was he to do? His one teammate had long since disappeared, and despite all of the friendly people he'd encountered over the past while in The World, he'd never really gotten close to anyone-- not like he had with his teammates at Teikoku, or in Neo Japan.

Troublesome.

The King of Goalkeepers was a nobody here, which was on the whole quite disappointing. He could build his reputation in other ways, of course, but it just wasn't the same! What was a guy to do?

Stand around on a boat, dateless but looking cool and stoic, he supposed. What a bore.]

[Fayt looked like he was perfectly at home in the steampunk suit he was wearing. Truthfully, after the armor he had worn on Elicoor II anything else just felt natural. So of course the first thing he does is go and talk to random NPCs and player characters]

[Genda takes the drink gratefully, smiling a bit thinly back at Fayt.] Ah. Did I look bored? I've been to a ton of these back home, so really... it's hard to get enthused, I guess. [A noncommittal shrug, and he takes a sip of the drink.] ...Hn. What're you doing here?

What else? Enjoying the atmosphere. [he smiles] I figured it'd be a nice change of pace from just dungeon crawling all the time.

And I know what you mean. Kinda. I've only gone to one or two, but that's because my parents hardly have the time to accept those invitations.

Try getting dragged to them all the time to 'make appearances'. I'd rather be practicing with my teammates than sticking around here.
