You don't have to worry about the application. Right now things have been a bit busy at the Shikons. We just lost a maintainer, and getting our staff members together to work on their duties has been really tough. We'll hopefully have things tied up next week at the latest.

well, now that I know what's going on, there's no rush :) (it's amazing how much one's attitude changes with just a little more info). So close to the judging period, too...talk about perfect timing on losing a maintainer, heh.

Have nominations picked up at all lately? I suppose I can go see for myself, but in case there's more than just what's obvious on the site...

Not really. We really could use some more nominations, especially in the Erotica, Ensemble, Novel, and Drabble categories. We might just have to go with what we got. :-/

Really? Maybe I'm too sensitive to myself or too hard on myself or something. I felt I was being a jerk on that one post of yours yesterday. But that's me, always making assumptions about everyone else.

I'll probably feel guilty about it till the end of time no matter what is said, but I feel better knowing that everything's ok :)

Go real life! What an excellent opportunity for you! Looking forward to 'house building' updates... try to swing it so the local cop/paramedic/volunteer fire chief lives on your street...it'll get plowed first thing everytime there's snow. *grin*

It's a little sad, 'cause we originally bought the 10 acres to have all to ourselves, but to get a free, new house out of the deal and to look down the street everyday and think "This part of the subdivision would not be here if it weren't for us!" totally makes up for it. *grin*

don't be too down. sounds like you've been thru a lot of change recently and that often sends people into blahs etc. while you get back on your feet. just hang in there and make sure you're doing fun things for yourself along the way.....me time! woot!
