Howl is fun, but I love book!Howl more, because he's even more self-centered and melodramatic, etc. I was so happy they left the green slime scene in the movie, though.

The green slime thing is so Miyazaki, though (I think there's something gooey in almost all of his films), so it's actually interesting to me that that was in the book as well.

None of the bookstores here have it. *pouts* I don't have a credit card to order anything online *double pouts* Hopefully the library has a copy...

I'm so glad you saw that movie! It is one of my favorite movies. And you're right, the book version is quite different from the movie. I personally, cannot pick a favorite between the two.

Let me know what you think after you finish the book though!
