Weekend Matches 16-17 January
I've not done a weekend football matches post in ages, probably 'cause I've not watched any full football matches in ages, aside from Liverpool's most recent debacles. Knights in Shining Armor
I got 'Don Quixote' for Christmas, so that's my reading project for the next while. I'd like to finish it in a timely fashion, it's too big to be lugging around for long! Happy New Year! This past year really was pretty useless- I'd say I did a lot of good reading, but that's about it I'm afraid. For this year, I really need to focus on work- jobs, figuring out the rest of my life, etc. I also want to learn how to knit, and to study Spanish again. Trapped inside, its been snowing for nearly 24 hours. I don't own snow boots, neither is my street plowed. Luckily I've done my Christmas shopping and sent out Christmas cards. First match today is either Cagliari vs. Napoli or Werder Bremen vs. Shalke, depends on if I feel like German or Italian football. Following up is the Catalan Derby, Barcelona vs. Espanyol. Next...

Now that the World Cup draw is over, time for the weekend. Providing that my computer doesn't die (not looking so good right now), it should be pretty decent- it's supposed to snow/ rain all day on Saturday so a good day to stay inside (I got my running in today and everything). I've not been watching the Prem much recently, although that should change this weekend. On Saturday, Aston Villa- Spurs is the most interesting game of the day, I'll be supporting Villa, as Spurs are getting on a bit too well for my liking.
