So life has returned to its normal state in the household, and it seems a little too quiet. The papparazzi have stopped trying to dig details about Joachim and my split, and the uproar that our news caused has calmed down. I can feel the change in me but cannot exactly pinpoint it.

The boys are wonderful right now. I can't have asked for better

So I've done it. It's been ready since May, but I haven't the strength to actually do it. I bought a house for Nikolai, Felix and myself in Copenhagen, near Hellerup, but I'm not sure when I'll be moving in. Maybe in the next year or so. Joachim and I are getting divorced. There was something wrong with the picture we were painting, and it was better to just terminate it all. It has been out in the Danish press since the 16th but I have neglected to post anything because it hurts to talk about it. I haven't been around for awhile, and I truly regret that. I've been so busy with all the performances and openings and galas that I haven't had a chance to breathe and write something down here.
