Oh I was saving the Maya/Sylar thing for later.
The blood? A bit of both really. I wanted it to be shady. The former government is no more but there does seem to be a structure in place, whether it’s legal is another matter. I like the idea that the Company was so latently infested in the different branches of the government that at heart maybe there wasn’t a difference.
She does have it hard now and not having straight answers, which she’s never had, would dig away at anyone. As she grows up she’s obviously more aware of it. Before she was in a bubble but now that it’s been burst those thoughts of blame will start to become apparent.
lol it makes me so happy that you want to do that! Next part should be up tonight! (I’m in the UK so I have to wait till the next day to watch it. But I’m not going to this season. Maybe my curiosity will get the better of me but for now, nope. I‘m happy with fic)

The Company no longer has any need to hide behind paper companies and whatnot, now that the world has effectively ended. No need for secrets to be kept if there's no one to protect from the truth, which might explain the blood testing. Hm...
Also: *does a little dance and sings* I'm gonna get me some Maya and Sylar interation, woot woot!

Exactly, abilities are no longer a secret so there's no need for them to stay hidden.
