Bad Taste
Yesterday I watched The French Lieutenant's Woman which was greatly acclaimed and nominated for Oscars and was actually quite enjoyable. Beautiful cinematography. What am I watching tonight? The Boy Who Gave Birth to His Own Twin. Sad sad me. Very gross. -
Lost
This week is the memorial service for a teacher I had in high school. He was my physics teacher during my first year of school while living in England. His name was Mr. Islam and it was with his help that I finally had a year of science class that wasn't physically draining because of the frustration. I have finished my first book of the year. Sad that it has taken me so long to read a two hundred plus page book but I didn't really have that much time to read. I, Claudius by Robert Graves and I enjoyed it very much despite being confused as to who was related and how to someone else. Grateful
Long before Dan and I got married, I swore to myself that I would never let a day go by that I wouldn't let him know how much I love and appreciate him. Every once in a while I hear a story or read something a friend has written and I realize how good we have it and how much worse it could be and that I have real justifiction to be grateful. Combustion
Last night Dan spent almost an hour explaining the internal combustion engine. We were watching Top Gear and I guess he was sick of me asking all these questions about why this and why that about the cars on the show. Evenings alone
Dans off to Paris for a few days and I'm here entertaining myself. I'm watching Psycho for the first time. Starting to get a little creepy.
