Books
I have finished my first book of the year. Sad that it has taken me so long to read a two hundred plus page book but I didn't really have that much time to read. I, Claudius by Robert Graves and I enjoyed it very much despite being confused as to who was related and how to someone else. Plus they all had very similar names but that was how the aristocratic families of ancient Rome really were. It has a family tree in the back but its not much help. The story end with the fall of Caligula and the unintentional rise of Claudius. I plan to eventually get the sequel Claudius the God because the first book ends with the crowning and doesn't go into much detail of his time as Emperor. Right now I am reading one of my sisters chinese women author books but when I finish that I will read Gravity Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon. Dan bought me Claudius and Rainbow because they were the thinnest and thickest books on my list. That really made me laugh.
