[fic] Find Me - Ninth Cut ~The Mirror Never Lies~

Aug 26, 2013 21:11

Title: Find Me
Pairing: Jin x Kame
Rating: NC-17
Genre - Catch Me: AU, angst, romance, smut, drama, tragedy
Beta by: my cat.  okay, seriously, nobody
Disclaimer: I don't own KAT-TUN, any of its members, any other JE people.  I write this for fun and for other fans of these fine folks.  But don't steal my plots, mmkay?  I put a great deal of time into them except for when I'm randomly spastically spitting words onto a page.  But I value those too...
Summary - Catch Me: A dramatic turn in his life throws Kame into Jin's college world.  Almost immediately they notice an attraction, but they spend more time clashing than not.
Summary - Lose Me: Kame and Jin still have the occasional argument but mostly they live happily together.  But when someone from Kame's past shows up, will the two be able to deal?
Summary - Find Me: Kame has been kidnapped.  Will he and Jin ever be reunited?

Warning: While "Catch Me" part is more towards the fluffy end of the scale at times, the other three parts have such things as drugs and murder and rape and all the fun parts of a bad neighborhood in a big city.  Oh, and character death(s).

On my journal: Catch Me, Lose Me, Find Me, Heal Me

A/N: This is the next-to-last cut for "Find Me" so... I'll post this tonight.  It's kind of a short cut, but it is the absolute most perfect place to put the cut divide.  The last cut will be a bit longer.  And then I'll get started on "Heal Me" okay?

x_tokyolights gets a mention here.  As a thanks for being so nice she gets to yell at Ryo, too.  She chose the name Yuri.

Find Me
Ninth Cut ~The Mirror Never Lies~

The next day was uneventful.  They watched television.  They ate.  There wasn’t really all that much to do.  Kame wanted more drugs but at the same time he didn’t want to ask for them.  He was worried that maybe he was starting to want them too much.  And the crash was becoming more noticeable as the rest of him was healing.

So he held his tongue.

The day after that, Ryo decided he wanted to make another video of them.  A longer one.  So Kame did everything he was told, everything Ryo wanted.  And it felt good and it felt wrong and all Kame wanted to do was cry.  Only this time, after they dressed, Ryo didn’t take him back to the room.  He kept him in the living room with him.  Which meant Kame couldn’t hide away and cry like he wanted.

So he gave in and finally asked.

“Ryo… p-please let me have some…”

“I don’t know… you do this stuff too often, it might become a problem…”

“Please?”

Sighing, Ryo gave in.  “But no more for a few days after this.  You’ve taken this stuff enough recently.”

“Thank you.”  And he took the drugs, then stretched out on the couch to just enjoy the ride.

He wasn’t sure how much time had passed, but there was a sudden loud banging on the door and an angry female voice from the other side.  Kame didn’t care, though.  That was Ryo’s business, not his.  Unless Ryo told him to deal with it, he didn’t have to worry about any of it.

“Open this door now, idiot!”

Apparently recognizing the voice, Ryo scrambled to get his key.  Kame noted Ryo’s concerned look with a certain level of amusement.

“Otouto, I mean it!  Open this door now!”

Now Ryo was shouting, too, on his way to unlock the door.  “I’m coming, I’m coming!  Stop shouting, Yuri!”

The girl practically bowled over Ryo on her way into the room and when she got into the room proper and saw Kame, she rounded on Ryo and, hands on her hips, shouted, “See?  This is the problem!  You think I don’t hear what’s going on these days?”

Ryo shut the door.  “Stop yelling, oneesan!”

“I didn’t buy this place in my name for you to have drugs delivered for your…” and she gestured over her shoulder at Kame, “…hooker!  You know, with my name on the deed, if you get busted I could end up in jail over this too?”

“He’s not my hooker, he’s my boyfriend.”

Yuri gave an exasperated sigh and flopped down in Ryo’s chair.  “Because, yes, that was my point.  Look, hooker, boyfriend, I don’t give a damn.  But I don’t want to hear again about drugs here, understand?  Or I swear, I’ll sell this place and boot the both of you.”

“Yuri, you can’t…”

“Hey, it’s in my name.  That means I can.”

“But it was my money.”  Ryo leaned against the door, crossing his arms.

“I don’t care.”  Gesturing back at Kame again, Yuri said, “I can see he’s flying but… you’re not taking them, are you?  You’re not that stupid?  I swore I’d keep an eye on you after your… well, our father disappeared.

“I’m not doing drugs.”

“Damn skippy you aren’t.”

Tilting his head to the side, Ryo asked, “How did you even hear about this, anyway?”

“A hostess hears things.”

A double-take from Ryo.  “Hostess?  Since when?”

“A girl’s got to eat.  And you have no right to judge, what with your druggie boyfriend-on-a-string.  Look, I can’t stay.  No more drug deliveries.  No more drugs.  I don’t care if he is your boyfriend or not.  I will boot you both and sell this dump.”

And she left.  Ryo locked the door behind her and settled irritably into his chair.

“Sister?” Kame asked, interested.

“Half sister.”  Ryo sighed.  “You know what?  Shut up.  I don’t want to see you right now.”  And Ryo jerked the leash, pulling Kame off the couch and down to the floor at his feet.  He snapped the leash off the collar, grabbed Kame by the hair, dragged him back to the bedroom, and threw him in.

He slammed the door after him and Kame heard the click of the lock.

Another week gone.  Kame had been missing almost two months.

How could they have both just vanished without a trace?  Did they even stay in the neighborhood?

Was Kame even still alive?

No, no… Jin refused to believe Kame was dead.

Koki, on the other hand, suffered a mental breakdown.  One minute he was fine, and the next he was yelling at everyone.  “Kame’s dead!   This is pointless!  Ryo killed him!” and on and on, for twenty minutes he was crying and screaming.  And then he shut himself up in his dorm room.  He wouldn’t even let Junno back in, so he had to temporarily room with Ueda.

Another one down.

But Kame needed him.  He’d never give up.  Jin didn’t care if it cost him everything else he ever had or could have.  He was going to find Kame and bring him home safely.  And he was going to put Ryo in the ground.

Crawling, Kame made his way to the bed and pushed himself up to a sitting position, leaning back against the bed.  As he looked up across the room, he saw himself in the large mirror… eyes judging, accusing…

Druggie boyfriend-on-a-string…

Pet…

Slut…

Whore to Ryo…

His mind was reeling.  Something in him snapped and suddenly he was on his feet, charging the large mirror with as much force as he could.  His shoulder hit followed very shortly by his fist.  The sound of the silvered glass breaking was so loud.  Blood was dripping down Kame’s knuckle as the shattered pieces fell to the floor and the wooden frame hit the wall as the base was overturned.

Ryo was in the room in an instant, furiously shouting at Kame but Kame couldn’t understand individual words.  He was too far past that snapping point to register any of the words.  Ryo grabbed him, jerked him away so he fell backwards and landed on the floor.  Then Ryo was on top of him, choking him despite the collar.  And Kame just let him.

The room was fading around the edges.

This was it.

Kame was finally going to be free, because he was going to be dead.

Tenth Cut ~The Fateful Call~

A/N: I'd apologize for the cliffhanger but I think you might have trouble believing it because I'm not sorry about the cliffhanger.

Though brownie points to whoever figures out where I got the lovely chapter title.
