I've been fairly bogged down in new babyness but am finally resurfacing after almost exactly 12 weeks. Amy is gorgeous, feeding well and growing quickly (health visitor described her as well-nourished and she has dimples and thighs that are fatter than mine ;). This baby is now officially allowed out as of Friday just gone (37 weeks). So far I've had twinges and got excited a few times but nothing's actually happened. I'm on the raspberry leaf tea (supposed to help with labour) and will be having curry at least sometimes and possibly slightly hotter ones than normal. Good news I am 10 1/2 weeks pregnant just had scan and all ok.

I had a fun-packed afternoon with Rosie and the pram club mums at the Wacky Warehouse. The parents enjoyed it as we got to play in the ball pool and go down the slides (we had to, we were 'supervising' the toddlers!). Has anyone come across Simon Bestwick? He's a Salford based sci fi/crime/horror writer and apparently likes to write about zombie apocalyptic attacks in Manchester. Any reviews?
