So it's only been nearly a month since my last post. Been a bit busy, honestly. Too much has happened for a detailed explanation, so I'll give you the short version.

God, I hope so. I've learned not to assume ANYTHING regarding this damn transaction, though. But believe me, you'll know all about it when (if) it does happen! :)

Thank you! I haven't done any decorating (I still have boxes everywhere), but I'm looking forward to having a nice tree and everything next year. :D

Wow! I had no idea you'd had so much difficulty with the process! Bad enough when your broker wasn't getting back to you, but this is ridiculous :(

Still, at least you're in there and enjoying it - and how great that the vendor was so nice about it all. Congratulations!

Thank you! Yes, Janey (the seller) has been a doll about the whole thing. And I've told her that, even if the loan doesn't go through, I'll continue to rent from her for the cost of her mortgage & condo fee, so that's fine; her costs will be covered, which was all she was worried about. Now I just want the loan to go through! No news today..... *sigh*

Not *entirely* over, since the loan hasn't closed yet (knock wood), but at least I'm moved in and won't have to move again! Even if the loan doesn't go through, I'll keep renting from her. Damn if I'll pack everything right back up again!

Not looking like it, but at least my loan officer can extend it. I'll be phoning her tomorrow morning to make sure she's getting the paperwork in and everything. Come to think of it, maybe I'll phone her now.... :P (She's not the best at keeping in touch, which has been a frustration all along.)
