I'm absolutely *convinced* this is the set - even with all the variants on the teacups and extra pieces yet to be confirmed. So much so, I've just spent the last of the Christmas money on getting a few stray pieces over on eBay. :)))

The only thing cooler than this will be if that seller I got the Bonanza cup from finds one in his warehouse that was actually used by the show(s).

I'm ridiculously pleased with myself - I don't know why I was so totally DETERMINED to figure this out... And it's not entirely over - Now that I know that it was used in both WWW *and* Big Valley, I would definitely snatch up any "in show" copies that might appear. But my main goal was simply to get some teacups in the same pattern and wow, I can't believe it's done!

To sweeten the deal, I snatched up two cup and saucer sets on eBay earlier today and in the process of negotiating combined postage and so forth, the seller wound up throwing in several stray plates and a bowl for an absolute *STEAL* of a price. I could have a friend over for a proper tea!

Wow, awesome! How would you even go about finding actual props that were used in the show?

That seller I bought the Bonanza teacup and napkins from has a huge warehouse of the sorts of props I'm on the lookout for in LA - He said back in December he'd keep an eye out for one (you'd think he would have the warehouse databased, but no.) He never emailed me after his visit to the warehouse in January, but I know he knows I'm still wanting one and would say something if he finds it in his inventory. Should he forget, I have an ebay alert set up if he posts any teacups (he has a regular business and is continually posting props for sale.)

Yay! BTW, we were watching the "Counter Attack" ep of The Invaders tonight, and - insert drumroll here - to my (albeit untrained) eye it appeared that in one scene, they were drinking from that selfsame teacup (the second pictured above). Just FYI!
