O.O
*cuddlesnugs*
*gives chocolate*
The other guy does have insurance, right?
Don't sign off on injuries for a while yet. Some things (like injury-related arthritis, which *I* got from a wreck but I'm hoping you won't) take some time to show up.
Yiiiiii... and people wonder why I don't drive....

No, definitely don't sign off on the injuries for any kind of settlement now. Definitely allow time to pass and see if anything crops up ( ... )

Yes, yes, he has lots of insurance. It paid for us to get a rental car and will give us money for pain and suffering and all kinds of things.

Yeah, a lot of people have said not to sign off yet. Good advice, nadiin. And people say livejournals aren't practical. :)

Glad to hear you're okay.

The car will likely be declared a "total loss" by your insurance and they'll give you FMV for it. Since the truck was primarily at fault, his insurance will bear the brunt of it anyway.

Yes, that's basically what happened. We have a rental car free from the other guy's insurance company for the duration of our carless period. I want to take pictures of the old car, but it's prolly torn up already. Poor car....

O.O I'm glad you and your mom are okay. I hate drivers who just pull out in front of you like you can stop on a dime or something. I have nothing nice or polite to say about them. Especially when they cause accidents. >:\

Well, he didn't mean to. He misjudged the distance and stuff. He felt really bad. :(

Yay for, like, airbags and seatbelts and stuff. Or else it would have been a lot worse.
