I am going to do something I haven't done in many years, and that is write a poem. I am half tempted to extend it.
All around you are the dead and dying
Mothers bleeding, children crying
Trampled and stomped, falling all around

A momentous occassion?
My 30th birthday is a day away as I write this. January 19th. Today, the 18th may be a bigger day. I have a phone call to make and it may well change my life. It may mean a temporary move for the summer and a lot more responsibility. We shall see. -

I have no issues with religion, in fact I think it is a great idea, people just fucked it up. My take on it is that, yes Virginia, there is a God, or Buddha, or (insert deity here), and they are all one and the same. An Era Ends.
Today was the season finale of "Krackaz in Da' Hood" which just so happens to been known as my life for the past six weeks. 3 middle class white dudes sent to low income pre-dominantly black neighborhoods to teach them about nature, Native Americans, animals, and teamwork. Yeah, that was an adventure. Our sense of humor is what got us through. -
