What a lame study. Sample bias anyone?

But she acknowledges that her experiment could not demonstrate which came first - the diary writing or the health problems.

...agreed that this particular study certainly seemed to suffer severely from selection bias.

I&I have an inherent distrust of psychology's basis in "artsy-craftsy philosophical soft science," but it's certainly worth a laugh sometimes.

I'm still amazed at how almost no one realizes corilations don't prove *anything*. Even if we accept a corilation between social akwardness and journaling (which I think we all do not) the Akwardness and headaches could well be causing the journaling!
