Hubby and I have been visiting my Mom for the last few days. We arrived Tuesday around suppertime. The dogs are staying at a kennel and our oldest daughter is looking after our house and the cats

I really have to work on keeping up with livejournal... I wish I'd known earlier, Kingston is only a short 3 hour drive from Ottawa and it would have been a lovely drive to meet you. Next time :) Have a safe trip back home.

I didn't think about mentioning our trip. Hopefully next time we can get together. I'm sure we will be back again some time not in the too distant future.

I really appreciate your visit with me and all the things we have been able to accomplish. The chauffeur has been most patient and understanding so could not ask for more. Also having most of the cooking taken over by someone else is quite fine. Am just sorry the weather has not been more co-operative but one cannot expect more in the Fall in Ontario. Also appreciate all the help and notes on the computer (hopefully it will make me more comfortable in using same). Rainbows are nice.
