Well I saw my oncologist today. He repeated what my GP had told me. My ovaries are still producing some estrogen so I'm not officially in menopause. (despite the fact that I haven't had a period in over two years) So I will stay on tamoxifen; probably for 5 years and then be put on Letrozole; also know as Femara for another five years. My onc couldn't find anything wrong with me either. He started asking about periods and such. I asked if he wanted to put me on an AI. He shook his head and said, "No, you are still too young."
