I just finished listening to the 1995 Jekyll and Hyde Broadway soundtrack, which was immensely more intense than I expected. The worst (in a good way...?) episodes are always the ones where there's really no bad guys involved, just good people in bad situations who don't know what else to do. I just bought the Xenosaga I & II game for the DS. It's all in Japanese, though, and while I know a fair amount, there's still a lot of technical talk going on, and LOTS of kanji that I haven't been exposed to in classes yet (and probably won't, since a lot of them are probably not words that I will need to know on a regular basis). So I've finally got some new writing done, though they're all poetry. I'm taking a poetry class this semester, so it's the most of what I'm thinking about these days. Hopefully I'll soon get back to prose, though, because as much as I love the versatility of poetry, fiction prose is still my one true love.

So I've started editing my track for the FMV2 MEP; I'm using footage from the first Drakengard game, which was absolutely amazing in all its hack-and-slashing, dragon-flying, incestuous, giant baby-filled glory. And I'm being completely honest, too. So let's all hope I can keep up on this and make it look good, ya? 

So I started teaching myself Korean from an online language resource recently, and mentioned it in passing to my father about a week before Christmas. And then, lo and behold, one of gifts from him was a set of actual Korean language books, audio CDs, and a phrasebook! I was stunned, to say the least. So now I can continue learning Korean!
