So, Game Day was a complete bust...

( For the record, it wasn't Renkey's fault, and I did NOT almost die. I was however, mostly dead all day )

As hard as it is to believe, Renkey is a really nice guy. You can not alleviate the guilt. All you can do is wait until it becomes a joke. Even then, he'll feel bad. I still feel bad about the one time I tripped Katie on her face when we were in high school, even though she laughs at it today.

All you can do is be happy that you've got a good friend in Renkey. :)

He actually suicided his civilization OFF the board, then left...

Well, I'm really glad you are okay!! Renkey will be okay after a little time passes, although he will probably always feel bad.

So is it bad that the first thing I thought, after being glad you were okay, was "There's a Mrs. Renkey?"

Oh my...poor Renkey, and poor you! I can understand how he'd feel guilty...hell there are STILL things that I harbor guilt for YEARS later. But that's another story. Embarassment and guilt are hard to swallow (sorry, no pun intended)but it will lessen with time. You could always send him an assorted box of 'I forgive you' nuts!

B told me all about the eventful day and that yes he too thought he had teased too much. I was more laughing at the fact that three guys were then babysitting two little girls. I hope you don't have any nosey neighbors b/c that could look really odd.

No I don't think the neighbors noticed...and the mom didn't seem to mind either when I told her what happened... :)

Eek! That is scary! I hate nuts in stuff, but just because they taste gross and not because they make me die. I'm glad you're okay.
