Went to the
Games Convention Asia exhibition today, with the sibling. Wandered about like a kid in a candy shop. Both of us were quite taken with
Lair: dragon-centric game for the PS3, incredibly gorgeous. However, same cannot be said for the controls. There was also a stage, on which was performed the most excruciating rendition of Sexyback I hope

I was at a media event today, and it seems like the only thing that people said was appealing about GCA was...
... the girls. Uh.
Dropped by for a very short while on Thursday (all of ten minutes), though I think I'll have a more thorough look tomorrow. =D

I did think the offerings were rather sparse and that there wasn't much to interest one, but it was a free event, so I'm not complaining. ;) It'd be fun to hear what you think about the event, but I can't imagine your review of it will be any more positive than mine.

I'm kind of only interested in Nintendo DS games, though. I'm not a big fan of Sony and their money-eating ways. =/ I can't wait for that Figure Skater game to come out! You know there's also a Ratatouille game, right? It's probably out for the PS2, too. :)

HAHA ;) The one thing I love about MASSIVE MOVIE GAMES is that they get released for ALL PLATFORMS. There's Ratatouille for XBox and the PC, too, so AS MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY IT AS POSSIBLE.
LAUGHS AT THE FIGURE SKATING GAME. OKAY SWEETIE, I cover the figure skating books, YOU DO THE GAMES! ALSO OH OH OH I borrowed this Sasha Cohen book today!
I AGREE ON SONY AND THEIR MONEY EATING WAYS. CURSE THEM for releasing the PS3 the year I bought my PS2. ;)

I would LOVE to play a game set anywhere in Belgium. EVEN IN THE WALLOON PART. I mean it. O.o
OH MY GOD! You got Fire on Ice! *JEALOUSY!* Let me know if it is interesting to read Y/Y? xD I really want to order it at Waterstone's next time I'm in Brussels! Even if I just want to read it to develop more Sasha-related plotbunnies.... :')
I will patiently wait for the way you acquire a Nintendo DS Lite. T.T

I'd like to see how patriotic you'd feel about your country if your country had songs about your love for your country playing at every MRT station, bank, and on every bus with television. *rolls eyes* Oh, please. We're not children who need the LOVE FOR OUR COUNTRY rammed down our throats. It makes you much less disposed to it, if it's being forced in your face and down your throat every day ( ... )

I love dragons. Did I mention that? When I was a kid, all I could think about was how awesome it would be to be a dragonrider (this after my obsession with dinosaurs - my mother was sure I was actually the child of some sort of bizarre lizard).

If you love dragons, have you ever read Naomi Novik's Temeraire series? It is pretty much amazing, and I would recommend this book a thousand times over. ♥ I don't normally like dragons or naval settings, but this book won me over.
I was obsessed with dinosaurs as a child too! I blame it on Jurassic Park, which had both my siblings and I totally obsessed. My youngest brother wanted to be Alan Grant. XDDD
T_T I know what you mean! I went to the games store today and saw that LAIR cost S$105, or US $68. AND I'd still need a PS3 to play it. *facepalm* I told myself I wouldn't get one til the ENGLISH version of FFXIII came out.
