Two cool things

We had awesome Indian take away tonight. Korma is very yum.

The youngest daughter of my host family is playing the harp in the background. She's very good. It's a nice way to end the day.

This morning Fionnuala picked me up, but it turned out that the gaelic class was canceled. I was really disappointed. After this week I only go to Cumann Gaelach once a week because classes start. She said she'd take me another time if we could fit it into my schedule ( Read more... )

Last night we had our first tin whistle class. It was fun and the instructor was crazy, but I was atrocious. I need to practice a lot before our performance. We found this really neat, chill pub afterward. Its close to home and we don't have to walk into the City Centre. It's a good place to go and watch football (Soccer ( Read more... )

I have a sore throat and I can't seem to access facebook on this computer.

I'm at the computer lab at the University of Ulster in Londonderry/Derry... which is literally two feet away from my host family.

Lauren and Mark are staying with the same family, thankfully, so I'm not terribly lonely or homesick.

My throat is irriataing though.
