This is the same as my email. I'm using someone else's computer and I don't want to drain his battery. It wont always be the same.
I left for Northern Ireland on Monday. I flew to Heathrow (London, England) and then to Belfast. On the drive to JFK, we saw a car on fire. It was mad crazy. My flight was boring and I had trouble sleeping. Heathrow was a nuthouse. There was a mix up and i wasn't on the flight, so they had to add me. The flight was delayed a bit, but I found another program member (Ashton) and we made it Belfast late, but okay. That is my explanation for not calling home. Hopefully Earlham called.
Then we went to Corymeela Reconciliation Center in Ballycastle. (
It is amazingly beautiful here. We are right near the coast. Lauren, Iona, Mark, Sarah and I did some exploring this morning. Later on we went to Giant Causeway (in Causeway) aka the Eight Wonder of the World. It's a really cool geological formation. The program director, Mervyn, told us a cool story about a Scottish Giant coming to fight an Irish giant, When the Irish giant saw the Scottish one coming, he put on a diaper and pretended to be a baby. The Scottish giant saw the baby and thought... if this guys baby is so huge, I don't want to fight him! As the Scottish giant fled, his heels kicked at the coast and created the formation. Really its some volcanic thing... maybe magma leaked up. Anyway, it formed this amazing rock formations. I'll send photo's when I can.
Actually, I'm using someone else's laptop. It has a weird shift key, so forgive my typing please.
I hope everyone is well. The weather here isn't to awful.
I'm having a wonderful time.
