If you've never tried to buy a propane tank, let me tell you, it is astoundingly difficult. In my last post I blithely called it 'trivial'. Today, I was sk00l3d. No idea how millions of suburban homeowners with gas grills have managed.

Interesting. Around here it's the opposite: HD has people who come up and ask what you'd like, and half of them have work experience in that realm so they can give details. Lowe's I have to hunt people down and they rarely know the area with much thoroughness. I think locally HD pays a little better so they hire the good people away from Lowe's but I'm not sure.

Well hell, I'd only worked there a month and *I* fucking know how to deal with that dilemma (after a few weeks' practice). They just can't afford to keep 'em *that* long anymore, I guess.

Suburban homeowners who have the option and know better burn natural gas in their grills instead, thus avoiding all that incompetence and mayhem :)
