I got a propane adapter for my gas regulator, so I need a propane tank - trivial - and the torch - UPS claims delivery on Monday - and then, you know, some pool cleaner and a scratchbrush and we're in business. The adapter was amazingly inexpensive at Central Welding, for being a brand-new part.

I also, now, have an interesting construction problem turning over in my head, and a collection of new things to think about.
