Of course Raven finds herself naturally heading to the library. Maybe because she's heard a couple of students mentioning it. Or just because knowledge is also the thing she values most and she's unconsciously drawn to this place.

Also she has immediately recognized the school as Hogwarts. So many wizards in Adstri dream of that place. It's starting to become a classic. Which still doesn't tell her whose dream she's in.

The Library at Hogwarts is massive -- towering shelves of books and manuscripts as far as the eye can see. Some students are talking and chattering about whatever it is they're working on -- Madame Pince looks hardly happy to hear that -- but one student in particular is settled in an armchair, reading peacefully.

He is much younger than Raven sees him -- thirteen or fourteen at the most, but he is unmistakable. The handsome expression, the long thin fingers, the calculating eyes as he absorbs whatever he is reading.

Tom Marvolo Riddle, before he has killed a single soul.

Fox probably won't get far given the strength of Tom's defences, but here she is putting in a good try.  She's noticed that a lot of people don't even remember her presence in their dreams, and while she doesn't know whose exactly dream this is, she's starting to get the hang of prying into things. Any sign that it's Tom and she'll double her efforts.

She heads down into the dungeons, opting for any door that looks like it might be blocking interesting things. How far she'll get for being an unprotected interloper in his head, though...

The dungeons are cold -- but, well, that's to be expected, isn't it? The further down she goes, the colder it gets, but after a certain point, she seems to hit a dead end.

A solid stone wall, at the end of a narrow passageway.

Completely and utterly fortified and sealed away.

Well damn. Time to try again, though! Undaunted, Fox turns around, intent on retracing her steps until she finds a path she chose against. She can go that way instead, right?

Lucifer doesn't try to figure out where he is or where he's going; he keeps his own mind carefully blank and just walks. Doing otherwise would make him seem threatening, whether or not he truly was being. Pesky side effect of being the Devil, you know.

Eventually he finds his way to the library, and begins idly looking through the titles.

The library appears normal, for now. The books are various magical subjects, ranging from transfiguration to potions to charms. However, there are a few Muggle titles in between the shelves, hidden away: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, A Tale of Two Cities... stories Tom enjoyed from his childhood, in the orphanage.

If Lucifer continues, he will find Tom, aged thirteen, reading peacefully.

He finds him, and gives him a polite, even respectful nod. "I don't have to introduce myself to you, do I?" You already know who I am.

"What are you reading?"

"No, but I do wonder why you're here," Tom responds mildly, closing his book. The title reads Advanced Transfiguration.
