Characters: Tom Marvolo Riddle [
purebloodmight] and YOU!
When: The week of March 6th: Dreamscape Event.
Where: Inside Tom's mind.
Rating: PG-13 upward, depending on how far you manage to get.
Summary: Tom has figured out that people are walking in and out of other people's minds... which leads for a very dangerous journey into the depths of Lord Voldemort's mind.
You are within the Great Hall of Hogwarts School of Withcraft and Wizardry. The four long tables are arranged by House colors -- Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin -- each with matching banners billowing over their respective tables. For the most part, the Hall is empty, as is the teacher's table at the far end of the room.
But the hall is inviting. You even feel a sense of warmth as you stand in the same hall that welcomed so many excellent wizards and witches. Students are walking past in the hallways, there are a few professors greeting you, but absolutely no sign of our resident genius.
Until you press forward.
But where will you go?
ooc: A few warnings, before we continue:
If you stray into Tom's mind, he will know. It does not matter how deep you go or how little you see, he will know that you have been inside of his mind. This may bode well for your character, it may bode horribly. It depends on what you see.
The Owlry will hold memories of Tom's childhood, should you poke around long enough. You can converse with a young Tom there, if you're extraordinarily lucky, or you could simply view bits and pieces of Tom's time in the orphanage. They are kept locked high and away from Hogwarts for a reason.
The Courtyard will hold memories of Tom's time at Hogwarts, ranging from his first class, when he became a prefect, Head Boy -- generally positive memories of him being the best wizard ever a model student and an impeccable teenager.
The Library is full of what Tom values most: knowledge. If you poke around long enough, you will find what he knows about Horcruxes -- but breaking into that knowledge takes an extraordinary amount of effort and skill. For the most part, you will find a younger Tom, one that spends a lot of time by himself, studying and reading.
The Dungeons will hold Tom's deepest secrets, but only at the most bottom level. You could find your way to the Slytherin common room rather easily or you could attempt to break into any of the locked doors. If you attempt to break in, Tom will know that you have done so. If you stray down far enough, past the barricades, you will find the person that Tom truly is: Lord Voldemort. But this will be kept locked far, far, far away, from where anyone can see.
