"My prince!" he exclaimed, "I am delighted to see you! We will be a sensation! The most beautiful sight of the ball, we're like cherry petals on ice!"

A couple minutes later saw the masquerading Ottsel sauntering away from the table, a glass of unspiked punch in his hands. He moved off to sit on a rock at the water's edge as though things were perfectly normal.

He spotted Daxter sitting on a rock near the water and he walked toward him and sat down next to him.
"Having fun Dax?" he asked as he took a sip of his drink.

He took another sip from his drink, feeling a bit looser every time he took a sip. The punch tasted strange...but perhaps it was just a strange flavor of it? It's not like he had much experience with spiked beverages.

And Lockon was everything but in a mood to socialize.

"Relax, or I'll get you drunk." sending his partner a grin, he looked around for any familiar faces. Get there, socialize a bit, knock some sense into depressed sniper...well, it was the main plan.

"Which one would you prefer, hmm?" it was a clear challenge, hinted in his tone. Hallelujah made it even more evident by grabbing two drinks from the bar and handing one to Lockon, with big grin.

Hawke's attire wasn't something completely different with what he normally wore, just something more extravegant. His skin was lightly oiled, and tied around his biceps and wrists were fringes of leather. A similar adornment were around his ankles, but shorter so that he wouldn't trip. He wore a cloth, but it was patterned with swirls and markings that were important from his home, and instead of his usual pony tail, his hair was free flowing, showing just a bit of curl. In his hair were some what could have been precious stones and a feather or two. For anyone who had visited his dreams, he almost had the same look.
But now he was here, not knowing where he should be, or what to do, and was trying to casually find someone he knew.

He beamed at him, wondering absently if Hawke would recognise him. He wasn't wearing a mask, but the make-up and the wig did change his appearance quite a bit.

His gaze travelled over the man's body, and he couldn't help wondering if maybe, just maybe, this physique was superior to his own. Shocking thought.
"You are very recognisable, somehow, lovely Hawke."

Once he'd made it over to the punch, he realized just how thirsty he was, and he ended up having a second, and then a third glass after his first.

"Drinking rather than dancing?" he asked, opening his fan with a snap and peering at the boy over its edge. "We must do something about that..."
Reply
"Ah, I..." he started, a little flustered. He drank the rest of his punch in one go before setting the glass down on the table, fiddling with his sleeve for a moment before hesitantly holding his hand out for the girl. "Vould you have a dance vith me then, Fraulein?"
Reply
"Why certainly, my good sir!" he exclaimed, "I am honoured!" Not that dancing in heels was something he was particularly good at, but damn, he could waltz with the best.
