There is nothing Mariya likes more then showing off and dressing up in gaudy outfits, the ball gave him the opportunity to do both. To make sure he would be noticed, Mariya is wearing a rather tight nurses uniform that stops just above his knees. The outfit seems to be made of a very shiny material, the light's surrounding the springs seem to reflect off of it. In the whole Mariya just seems to be screaming "Look at me!"

If you look around the party Mariya can be found by the food table, holding what appears to be a glass of wine in his hand. From the look on Maryia's face, it seems like he may actually be enjoying himself for once.

Tamaki walked over to the table in search of something to eat, but stopped dead on noticing the glittering figure that was already there.

"Hello!" he said, smiling, "I see I have some serious competition if I want to be the most gorgeous girl at the ball!"

Mariya carefully studies the "Women" in front of him. Mariya smiles lightly, it is a face that radiates but kindess and a strange aura of disapproval.

"Hello to you to "miss" he said, with an emphasis on the last word. "I'm charmed you think I'm gorgeous, but I think that is more for the others to decide who is prettier." His smile turns a bit more sinister ,"How about a little game, who ever dances with more men wins?"

"A game according to my tastes!" he said, pointing dramatically at her, and realising too late that the gesture wasn't particularly feminine. To make up for it, he lifted his fan to his lips with a slight giggle.

"Let us meet again at midnight, and the result will be known then!"

Alphonse wore a bright smile from beneath the mask on his face, and he wore a new tuxedo, a bright red rosebud through the buttonhole. He was purposefully leaving himself still mostly recognizable; if someone wanted to find him, they very easily could, but still, they wouldn't know his exact facial features. With Envy presumably still on the loose, it was the perfect sort of party.

... but parties could always be dangerous. Al hated thinking like a soldier on a night that was supposed to be fun, but he had a responsibility to make sure everything went well.

His primary job would be to seek out the wallflowers of the party and engage them. Right now, however, he was greeting everyone as they came in.

Daxter could recognize Alphonse in almost anything, so it didn't take him long to lock onto the blonde teen and sauntered over. "Hey Blondie," he said, taking up a begging position in his green furry/scaly costume. "Like the look?"

Al couldn't help but laugh when he saw Daxter in the costume, and he knelt down, unmindful of the tails of the tuxedo trailing on the ground as he scruffed up the fur of the costume, feeling it.

"Dax!" he said with a laugh. "Where'd you come up with THIS? Did you make it?"

Daxter answered with a proud smirk. "Naturally, I figured a crocadog would be good for a laugh or two." He Examined Al's outfit with a critical eye, before giving an appreciative whistle.

Ling was quite content to invite himself into the midst of things, dressed conspicuously in Oriental-styled red robes he'd found a few days prior. He wore them over his own clothing, loose and not unlike a child might wear their mother's dress over their grubby t-shirt and shorts. From the moment he stepped into the fray, he had only one goal in mind. The snack bar.

Al had spotted Ling earlier in the day -- the Xingese prince still had no idea what Alphonse looked like even if he knew his voice, but he was slowly coming to trust Ling's motives. Though at first he had seemed suspicious, he couldn't deny that Ling was a likeable sort.

He headed up to Ling's side, leaning over to sneak one of the olives he liked before they were gone, and grinned at him from behind his mask.

"Having fun?"

He'd packed his plate to brimming, now just picking up a few extra tidbits to pop them in his mouth right away. He didn't give the person beside him much heed as he took one of the olives. At least, not until he spoke up. Ling swallowed what was in his mouth, his eyes openning ever so slightly as he turned to view the other boy. He was dressed in a tux and was wearing a mask, but any way he looked at it, Alphonse Elric's voice had not come from a suit of armor.

"It's turning out to be quite an event," he replied ambiguously, unable to keep his gaze from wandering up and down the alchemist's body. Nope. Still no metal.

Al rather enjoyed the reactions he got when he confronted people with his true physical self. It had been over a year since he'd returned to his body, and he was finally strong and healthy. From the way Ling looked at him, it was the final bit of proof that he'd needed to know that the young man had known him, and quite well.

"Tamaki's in his element," he said with a nod, and glanced over at the flurry of pink skirts. He couldn't tell from the distance, but it looked like Tamaki might be dragging someone onto the dance floor. The poor dear.

"... parties. I mean. Not... skirts." He hoped.

Skyler had heard very briefly about this costume ball, and being the curious type he was had decided to attend it. A costume had been too hard in such a short time, so he didn't plan to use one. Luck was with him however and he found a Turtwig mask and a child-sized hoodie in a couple of the shops which he now wore.

Locating the hotsprings was easy enough, and he slipped into the area, tail kept just close enough to himself to avoid having it stepped on...he was still only a couple of feet tall after all, and very easy to miss. He sat cross-legged on a rock near the water, the too big hoodie making him look like and odd monk of some kind, his sleeves too long, and his legs covered.

Konata enters the party in a rather excited state. She is wearing a dress of her own design patterned after those she saw in a book on victorian fashion. In typical fan girl fashion she has alterd the dress to the point where it almost resembles a anime maid uniform complete with head dress. As she enters the party she first lays her eyes on a rather odd figure first.
"Is tha you Skyler?" She yells.

Skyler gave a start when Konata yelled to him, but quickly smiled and waved her over while using one hand to lift his mask, Even though he couldn't speak to her directly, a greeting was a greeting was a greeting.

Konata walks over to the pokemons side and sits down, being careful to fold her dress just so under her.
"Are you enjoying the party?" She gently pats him on the back.

Sirius was, as it was to be expected, quite the party animal. No matter what, if there was a party going on at Hogwarts (with the exception of a Slytherin party) he usually ended up crashing it in one way or the other.

But this party he was actually invited to, so he strolled calmly into the hot spring area, dressed up in mismatched clothes instead of his usual robes. He was dressed as a muggle and, if he had to say so himself, he though he did a knock up job at his outfit too!

This party, Sirius was sure, would be fun. And if it wasn't...then he'd just have to make some fun himself~

Tamaki was taking a rest from all the dancing, his high-heeled shoes in his lap and his feet in one of the hot springs. He looked up as a rather underdressed young man approached him, and smiled at him, pleased with the prospect of developing his recent friendship with him.

"Good evening, my good sir!" he said, pulling his feet out of the water. "Come to ask me for a dance?"

Seeing as Tamaki was in drag, Sirius did not recognize who he was, so he figured it was some young woman who...obviously had a bit of issues putting on her make up. But it wasn't so bad, some of the girls back at Hogwarts were even worse than this "girl".

"Of course~ Would you like to dance, darling?"

He held out his hand to him, waiting for him to place his "delicate" hand in his.

He liked Tamaki...but it'd be a bit awkward after this when he learned who this "girl" really was.

Darling? Not a bad start to an evening's flirtation. Hiding a non-existent blush behind his fan for a moment, he put on his shoes, then reached for the offered hand.

"Why, you are too kind!" he said, getting to his feet, eager for the dance.
