"Are you all--" Maes stopped himself mid-sentence. It was not one person. It was two. And they were certainly not needing help. Sometimes he forgot that this place didn't just hurt people, that some made connections. Quietly he started walking backwards, though it was very likely they'd noticed him. He'd started by being loud, after all.

"Ah. Pard-" he started to say when he felt Lelouch struggle beneath him. He breathed an apology to Lelouch and quickly scrambled off of him. He stood and then bowed his head towards Maes.
"Please pardon us. We're quite fine....didn't expect anyone else here," he said, a little embarassed but not to the extend Lelouch would have been. They were a couple and Suzaku saw that their behavior was normal. Maes didn't seem like a harmful guy anyways.
"Why are you gathering flowers?" he asked, his curiosity inadvertantly opening a new conversation rather than closing the current one.

But then he was asked about flowers, and that opened up the floodgates. "My daughter Elysia is here, and she loves flowers. We're going to make flower crowns for her, and necklaces, and just play in them! She's absolutely adorable when she's happy, and even precious when she's a little grumpy! Here!" Completely losing sight of the fact that the couple had been enjoying time alone, Maes dropped to the ground near them and pulled out his wallet. It now only held photos. There was no currency here, after all.

"What's wrong? You should relax, Lelouch. Just me...." he murmured, leaning down to kiss him again. Lelouch was not going to be much fun if he ruined the mood every five minutes to check if someone was there. Even if there was someone, most people knew to leave well enough alone and continue walking along.

Suddenly he came to a clearing, noticing clearly two figures laying on the ground. Apparently someone decided for a picnic with little fun. Hallelujah observed them, his grin widening while he recognized the two; well well, weren't they his neighbours?
Walking as quietly as possible he approached Lulu and Suzaku.

Hallelujah came closer, still not saying anything; it was almost like a game, noting how Lulu was looking around almost in fear that someone will come. He took a few more photos. Well, Suzaku and Lulu were really into it. Perhaps he should drag Lockon out for a picnic as well?
