Monday Night

Cassidy shook herself as she woke up. This place was unfamiliar to her, and she wondered if she had changed worlds in her sleep again. An open door caught her eye and she trotted towards it, poking her head into a tidy apartment. There was a jacket hung over a chair, so perhaps someone was home?

Checking her paws for dirt, she padded inside, trying to sniff someone out. "Hello?"

"They're not here, you know," a voice piped up from behind Cassidy. "But I've never seen a dog that could talk before! Who're you?"

Cassidy turned around, having a seat and curling her tail around her paws. "I'm Cassidy. I was just hoping someone could tell me where I am...can you?"

[konobakazaru]

"Oh! Hi, Cassidy! I'm Goku!" He grinned from ear to ear, plopping down as well with his legs crossed. "You're in my mind! Or Goku's mind. I'm just kinda here to take care of the place, but we're the same person!"

Monday Night

"Mmmmmwaaah." Ed looked around curiously. She knew about temples, Earth had lots of them, even if they were in ruins. But this one was intact, and really pretty. Hearing music coming from one of the pathways, Ed cheerfully walked down it, arms and legs swinging in a manner much like a wind-up doll. Opening the door, she grinned. Bright and colorful was exactly what she liked.

"Very very cool! Alright! Anyone here?"

It took a moment, but a head of unruly brown hair poked around the corner of an unmanned vendor cart. Golden eyes went wide, and Goku emerged from his hiding place. "Oh! I've seen you before, I think! Welcome!"

Ed immediately perked up even more. "Goku-boy! Hi hi!" She looked around. "Where is this place? It's like the temples on Earth, but better, 'cause they're all rocks and dirt, and this one's not the same-same."

"Rocks 'n dirt? I've never seen a temple made of rocks 'n dirt before! That must be really cool! But this's Goku's mind." He nodded at Ed, turning to look around himself. "This's where he keeps all his happy memories, from before he went to Adstring-place."

Monday night

It was a nice sense of tranquility and peace and instead of hopping to her feet, Ginia remained on the floor of the temple, calmly observing the surrounding area. The place felt a little safe, a little comforting, and even a little familiar though she knew she had never been here or anywhere like it before.

After a few minutes, Ginia got up and began to wander around, making her way down the hallway and following the cheerful sounds to the room.

Across the hallway from the cheerful room, another door opened, and a small, round face peeked out. Almost instantly a grin broke out, and the door opened wider, revealing hardly anything inside. "Ginia lady! I didn't know you were gonna show up, too!"

"Goku?"

She paused in surprise, her hand flying up to cover her mouth. She could speak. This was definitely a dream or something was going on. But her hand came down and she took a step toward Goku, a smile crossing her face. He looked younger and she remembered another event when he had been a child, but the circumstances were different.

"Is this your place, Goku?"

"It's nice to finally hear your voice!" He smiled brightly, his hands perching themselves on the back of his head. "I guess you can talk in here 'cuz he wanted to hear your voice. But it'll be better than usin' sign language, huh?"

Goku looked over his shoulder into the room he had just exited. He stared for a few seconds, as if he were making sure everything had been left in place, and then turned fully and closed the door. "Yeah, kinda! I mean, it's his place, yeah, so I guess it's mine too!"

Tuesday

Temple. How ...

"Unoriginal," she said out loud, looking around. "And yet, strangely familiar ..."

She frowned, and then called out.

"Oi, chibi ! You here ?"

There was only one mind that could taste like that.

As if he had been there the entire time, Goku stepped out from behind Kanzeon, looking at her with a confused look. "Hey, lady! How'd you know I was here?"

She laughed.

"I know you a little bit, chibi. I can't think of anyone else whose mind would look like that."

She pats his head, ruffling his hair.

"Anyone else around here, or is it just you ?"

[konobakazaru]

"No, it's just me. A couple of people were here yesterday, though! Ed and a dog and Ginia lady!" He took the hair ruffling without complaining, playing with the end of the chain around his neck.

Thursday

The place looked a bit like a Wutai temple, but bigger, less ornate. The place was sunny, and almost welcoming, but Vincent was not a big fan of bright sunny places, even so peaceful as this one.

But then, the outside was pretty much a field of ruins anyway. Vincent stopped and sat down on the steps to look at the city, and see if someone would come up and tell him where he was.

Goku rounded a corner in a half-jog, but almost immediately froze. Who was that? He approached with caution.

"I-I think I've seen you somewhere before...who're you?"

Vincent looked at the kid. He could recognize him as the boy who had gone on a rampage when his golden diadem had been removed, but he'd never really spoken to him. he wasn't even sure he knew his name.

"I"m Vincent," he said softly. "I don't really know why I'm here."

"Vincent, huh? You look familiar." Goku squatted down, balancing on the balls of his bare feet.

"I dunno why you're here, either. There's been a few people that've come here lately, but I dunno how or why. Is somethin' happening out there?"
