The black cloaked figure walked towards the bar, even in diguise, he had to be cautious. Just a way to make sure that no one knew whom he was now masquerading as. Marluxia was indeed his most hated rival in the Organization, so it seemed fitting to use him as a disguise.

As he opened the doors and walked into the bar, he pulled down his hood, revealing shoulder-length pink hair. Ugh, it was so demeaning for Zexion, but he would endure. He still appeared as a member of Organization XIII, as he still had other plans to be put into effect eventually. He strode casually over to one of the chairs and sat down slowly, his gaze drifting calmly about the bar. It was a rather nice set up, and he liked it. Perhaps he would visit again as himself later on.

'Marluxia' smiled over at the woman behind the bar, and nodded in a greeting before speaking, his voice calm, yet somehow, relaxing. "Hello."

Ginia looked up when the door opened and someone walked in, giving a polite bow as a greeting. She couldn't exactly offer a warm vocal greeting, being mute, but she still had her ways of being polite and welcoming to her guests.

She couldn't say the person was anyone she recognized. Granted, there were plenty of people within the city and it was nearly impossible to know every single person on and off the network, but she was certain he was someone new. Well, that wasn't too strange, there had been several newcomers in just the last few days and everyone was welcome.

/Welcome, Sir. I am mute so I apologize for not being able to communicate verbally, but my hearing is fine so please speak freely. Please make yourself comfortable and help yourself to the food and drinks on the table. If there is a specific drink you would like to have, please let me know./

Ginia set the pre-written card in front of him with another bow and a warm smile.

'Marluxia' read the card quickly, before nodding slightly. "I am sorry, I did not know you were mute. Forgive me. My name is Marluxia. I am rather new here."

He smiled slightly. So this is Ginia Solana. How interesting He was careful to keep his concentration, as he had to act the part he had taken. "I heard from an aquaintance of mine that this bar was reopening today, and decided I would see it for myself." He stated, his smile still faintly traced into his lips.

Ginia quickly took out a notepad and quickly wrote out a response, her handwriting still very neat and legible from years of practice.

/There's no need to apologize at all, I admit it is not a fact I publicize often. But it's nice to meet you, Marluxia. Have you already found a place to stay?/

Bartenders tended to have their own unspoken rules and one of Ginia's was to never pry into the personal life of a customer. It was rude and could be very off-putting. However, one couldn't blame her for being politely curious about the well-being of a "new arrival" in the city; everyone was quick to greet a new face on the network and fill them in on the important information.

Something dampened the spirits of String Place, and Obito wasn't lying when he decided that he didn't care. He could be viewed as insensitive all people wanted, but he was determined to make something out of this holiday this time. Everyone else just had bad timing. People died all the time- hell; even he was dead. A lesson Obito thought everyone needed to learn was to make the best of their lives while they had them. It was stupid to spend it in sadness: you'd never get those minutes back ( ... )

Ginia returned the wave and grin before turning back to tend to the current customers within the bar. While she might be a bit late, she definitely planned on joining in on the snowball fight.

Kenpachi showed up at the bar with several buckets he'd scrounged up around the city. After all, a mobile arsenal was a handy thing to have. He glanced inside the bar, nodded to the people inside, and then went looking for opponents and allies.

Quickly he spotted Obito outside. The orange scarf stood out very well. Kenpachi headed over and nodded to his teammate. "Glad ta see yer settin' up. Hope there're others doin' tha same. Ain't much fun without good competition, heh."

He pushed his red scarf out of the way and knelt down next to Obito, starting to make snowballs as well. This was setting up to be a favorite winter already.

"Hey!" Obito looked up at Kenpachi and waved from where he sat in the snow.

The young Uchiha smiled. He'd gotten used to man's size awhile ago and it didn't bother him anymore. Kenpachi was a cool guy, in his opinion. Had some thrill issues, but still pretty cool. "Yeah-" He said, returning to snowball-fashioning, "We should have a lot of fun!"

Obito was thrilled for the coming fight. He occassionally looked up and around from the ground for Kakashi. He knew Kakashi would show up- he'd promised he would after all- but he was impatient to see his silver-haired friend. He wasn't used to going much of anywhere without him.

"Hey," Obito said, just noticing the buckets Kenpachi brought over. "What are those?"

Maes wandered into the bar, smiling and ignoring the down mood of the place. Someone had died, yes, but they would be back. He considered it part of his job to be cheerful and at least bring a smile to other peoples' faces, even if it was a smile joined with panic as they tried to flee pictures. They did laugh about it afterwards.

Not many were here yet. It looked like the snowball fight was going to be starting soon, but for now, Maes would enjoy the warmth of the bar. Grinning, he waved to Ginia. "Hello, Miss Ginia! The place looks great! And," Maes pulled pictures out of the pocket of his oversized coat, "I brought some personal holiday cheer!"

Now he would get to meet her when not on business, which should, in theory, be much more fun.

Ginia returned his greeting and a grin and wave of her own, motioning toward one of the seats at the counter that had just opened up. There was a sense of cheerfulness around Maes she liked. He was definitely the kind of person that could brighten up any sort of situation, yet still be serious when the time called for it.

When he pulled pictures out of his coat, she tilted her head curiously at him. She didn't know to flee from him when he showered pictures onto him, but even if she knew, she probably wouldn't have ran.

Nodding, Maes headed to the indicated seat, grabbing a cookie on the way. He happily relaxed. "Things are starting to get going," he commented, glancing around. "I don't suppose you have whiskey back there? It's one of my favorites, when it's on the rocks."

Carefully he began setting out a few shots on the bar. "These are of my daughter, Elysia, at her first Christmas! She's the most adorable daughter ever!"

At his drink request, she gave a small bow before taking out a glass, adding in three ice cubes, and pouring whiskey into it. Setting the glass in front of him, she leaned over to look at the pictures, the inner maternal side of her cooing and squealing in delight. There was no denying the little girl was precious and it warmed her seeing how much affection he poured over her. There was no doubt he was an excellent father.

/She's beautiful, Maes,/ Ginia wrote back to him, smiling broadly.

Juke entered the bar, dressed in a heavy coat and scarf. He hastily yanked off the thick clothes, giving him more mobility. The scientist then looked around to see what this bar had to offer. After snagging a few gingerbread cookies, he headed over to the bar area.

The leg of a poor, defenseless gingerbread man hanging out of his mouth, he offered a pathetic wave to Ginia. "'Ey Gn'ya." He tilted his head back and finished the cookie, then sat down. Recent incidents clearly hadn't been kind to him: His eyes were dark and tired, his messy hair was MORE of a mess, and there was... what was with the little band-aids on the side of his face?

Juke rested his arms on the counter. "Toldja I'd come." He said dully.

Ginia gave a sympathetic smile when Juke took a seat at the counter. If there was anyone who needed some cheering up, it was him.

/I'm glad you came, Juke,/ she wrote out on a piece of paper. /Can I get you something to drink?/

Juke adjusted his glasses as he read the paper. "...What's with the paper?"

It was strange.

In one way Naruto felt as if he was dreaming. It must have been the way he came up to the building; known as The Bar at the End of the World. Yet even though he didn't mind Christmas music it was really starting to get on his nerves. Thus - a glance, as it wasn't so much the details that stood out - but what was registering in his mind, and Naruto opened the door - closing it behind himself.

The first thing he noticed aside from the obvious? The music. While he didn't rush - he didn't wait either and changed the song. There. It was something mundane and non-festive and - best of all, it was catchy. He read each placeholder while the song played, then looked around with a smile for a moment - then looking to Ginia.

Ginia was exactly where it would have been expected; directly behind the bar, entertaining the current audience at the counter while she served up drinks with her own bit of flair. It took her awhile before she noticed Naruto, but when she did, a broad smile crossed her face even as a feeling washed over her.

She knew him. Not just from their conversations over the network and their brief meeting while they were both at the clinic, but she knew him. Politely excusing herself from the counter, she stepped around and took a few steps over to him, leaving some space between them as she looked at him.

/Hello, Naruto, welcome,/ she signed carefully.

Absently, Naruto had taken off his jacket and fixed the tie when Ginia had approached, and he gave off a grin. Man, that shirt collar was a bit stiff and it itched like hell, but whatever. He may have been caught off-guard that first second as he read her sign with slight confusion and assumed to a point that she was greeting him. After all, eliminating facts and down to gestures - it was with common sense when he fiddled with the tie some more. He was going to be itching like a monkey for the rest of the night, wasn't he?

Half-jokingly Naruto had replied, "Oi- you want it back to the other music?".

She gave a small smile before shaking her head. So he couldn't read sign, well, it wasn't a big deal. With the notepad back on the table, Ginia pulled out her PCD instead and typed out a message.

/No, you're free to change it to whatever you like. Variation is good too. And would you like to put your jacket somewhere?/
