I have no idea how you manage to make us feel the exactly same emotions your characters are feeling. The pain they feel from being apart from each other is so terrible and palpable omg ))))): The scene in which Jinki went to their room and Taemin was gone hurts to read. ;~~; All I can do is give you props for making your readers feel like that.

And yet, his little star just doesn't fit any more in that shell.
I loved the little star part here.

I'm so glad things ended well. Your writing just makes them seem destined to be together ;____________; (all the scenes in which they are together are perfect) I really really miss your stories bb

In my mind at least, they *are* destined to be together and like all destined (star crossed) lovers, the pain of separation is like no other pain on earth. I started this chapter with Taemin so that people could see/feel how desperate he was that he felt he had to leave. And yet at the same time, All onew is thinking about is how to protect Taemin - to me that's the essence of love to put the other person's welfare first. Taemin thinks he's doing that by leaving, by not burdening Onew with a "pity case" as he says.

Onew truly thinks of Taemin as something glorious and precious and shining, so the little star thing which is what piccolo stella means - is a recurring theme. The next chapter will be bringing them together again and a punishment scene (but a fun one) for Taemin leaving.

Just such a emotional chapter, I really could feel the pain from both and had to keep myself from crying.

Taemin misunderstanding Onew's intentions just was so sad and unnecessary, but he couldn't help it because of how he feels about himself.

I hate the though of this story ending. It is such a beautiful and sensual story, it's one I will remember forever, not only because it's Ontae, but it was my first story in D/s world and you introduced it so beautifully.

LOL, everyone wants more Black Orchid, it's coming, honest. :) I'm so happy you enjoyed and yeah I am sad about it ending, that's why I mentioned it, to give readers a chance to brace themselves or be ready for the ending. I had a sort of plan and I've accomplished that plan or will have by the time I'm finished and I'm also really proud to have come so far with them. :) So it's a mixed up world. Oh Honey. You updated one of my very absolute favorite fics ever.
I could completely understand Taemin's pov. I mean I can understand Onew too but Taemin also needed as part of his healing process to know that he was loved still.
I so appreciate that Onew knew him so well and not only knew where to look for him and why he went there, but that he also understood that he made a mistake and admitted to it. To Taemin.
It can be so hard to admit when you've made a mistake. But the honesty is the best part and they love and need each other. And I love this sooooo much.

Onew is a very perceptive person. I didn't plan it that way, that part just sort of happened, but it has worked well to help keep the story from bogging down. And he had to admit it, to Taemin, I felt, because that was the crux of Taemin's belief he wasn't loved. Everyone makes mistakes, and the worst ones are the ones we make towards those we care for... And yeah as above in other comments, they just belong together so it had to come right. And you're welcome :) I didn't have time to develop that much but it just...Siwon/Sungmin works for me. :D Thanks for your comment and for going along with me on the Stardust journey.
