I don't- I can't... How do you manage to write such complicated and real feelings, make my boundaries drop and allow me to completely empathise with your characters? It's magical. (I reread the whole story in one shot again aha)
It was a tiny bit harder to understand Taemin this time, even though his reasons (as in why he acts the way he does) are usually very clear, often heartbreaking-ly so. I mean his yearning for his Maestro was very (deliciously...?) obvious as usual but it was a bit hard to pinpoint what led him to think that Onew pitied him and in what way did Onew not react the way he wanted him to (because it wasn't outrightly written ['cause Taem was unconscious], I'm such a dummy).
However, thinking back to when it happened (right after Taemin confessed and was crying in Onew's arms), I was also wondering why Taemin wasn't craving for more desperate(?) words and actions or declarations of love but then thought that oh, maybe he just needed onew's support and those little actions and patting his hair kind of thing was enough

Onew was kind of doing the pat on the head routine and treating Taemin like glass and Taemin wanted more than that. We'll see more of the exposition on that in the next chapter. Glad you liked it anyway :)
