Slasher: I started watching the Slasher series on Netflix when I went on vacation. It's a show from Canada with 6 seasons per episode. Netflix only has two of the three seasons, and they have the second one as first. Each one is a slasher film spread over 6 hours. The first season I watched got a 3/5, and the second a 4/5. A lot of the actors

I saw Bird Box yesterday and thought it looked like a riff on A Quiet Place so passed in it. Maybe i passed too quickly!

I haven't watched that movie, so I can't tell you. I thought the story was done wells and the actors were very good.

Two hours? I'm not sure it took a whole lot longer than that to read the entire book. Must've been pretty thorough.

It was. Although I wonder if there was more information in the book about what happened, and about the 'bad guys.'

The book never gave any insight as to what the "creatures" were that were causing all the havoc, so I never knew if they were as small as butterflies or chipmunks or kangaroos or elephants or what. Even the character who had supposedly seen them with no effect couldn't describe their size or shape, so honestly, none of the central conflict worked for me.

It was a bit annoying that we didn't know more about it.
