I am always amazed when I see that extended trot -- it is truly one of the most beautiful things to watch in dressage (imo!). :) my trainer has been working with her trainer on transitioning into the canter -- her poor horse had a painful life before he came to them (cattle prodded over jumps), so moving into "speed" gets him amped up. =( boo's trainer is working with him on being a non-fucker horse that thinks before he reacts. xo

It is very pretty.
Ouch, poor horse. Some people are assholes.
I hope trainer helps Boo be a non-fucker. :)

Fall is coming in, so I expect between the Spectral Hounds up the street and the coyotes my dogs will be barking non stop as well.

I usually see the animals when the season starts to go dark. Cue the skunks now as well...!

Occasionally a skunk will wander into the barn. That's fun.

What is an alternative to a chain pull fan? I've had a fan on a separate switch from an attached light, but it still had a chain to change the speed and a switch to change the direction.

Remote control. They are pretty darn cool, but more expensive.
ETA: OTOH you don't have to buy a new one every few years when the chain control breaks.
