Everyone understands that nurses are very busy people who need to abbreviate a lot of words in order to save time while charting. That said, I'd like to suggest that when you have categorized a new resident as "Total Assist", you might want to take the extra second or two to spell out "assist."

Earlier today, returning from a resident's doctor appointment, the AMR driver talking about some TV show featuring some hotshot illusionist. As he's unhooking the tiedown straps on the resident's wheelchair, he tells me what night and channel the show is on, and that I should check it out. Any of you guys like jigsaw puzzles? I'm doing a major household purge, and I've got a lot of the damned things, mostly in the 500-1000 piece range, various subjects. Anyone who's interested or has any questions can leave a comment. I'm off to bring some clothes to the thrift store. -

Old MacDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-AAAAAGH!!
I dreamed last night of a movie about killer horses. Percherons, they seemed to be, like the one in my icon, only shaggier and with creepy silvered eyes. The movie was black and white, and it was actually pretty scary until it was revealed that the horses could talk; things kind of fell apart after that.
