The lady friend went away for Christmas, which means i had nothing to do all day. I hung out and watched some dvds. I took my sisters car out for a spin. I hung out with new faces tonite. I believe my teacher was right. We have alot more tragedy stories and sad epic poems than stories of complete happiness and euphoria. The only happy stories most people have are fantasy. Another weekend past, this one more memorable than most. You can always tell how great a weekend is by how many stories you can tell on Monday. You bet your ass i got stories about this weekend. I think I'll keep them to myself mostly. They will enter my greatest treasure chest, my memories.

Today was a strange day. Outrageous things didn't happen, just normal things that i don't usually do. I like when that happens. Keeps you on your toes a little more. What would life be if it was all fastballs? You need a curveball or slider to keep things interesting. I like that about life.

Sometimes you have to forget about whats "important". The homework, the income, the applications, put it out of your mind. Take care of yourself first. My parents call me selfish and lazy, i just have different priorities. A different frame of mind. I had a really good time tonite. I got into the music (maybe a little too much at times), but i was also thinking about some other things as well. I saw great things tonite, a sad old man playing a beautifully depressing blues song on his sax, random acts of kindness, an art that dates back centuries, as well as all the things i saw in my head.
