[Who would leave a cake in the middle of the road indeed. Anise stared at the dessert, placing her hands on her hips as she gazed down at it before looking around. Was this some kind of odd offering?

After a moment, she couldn't resist, the devil poked her finger into the frosting before sticking it into her mouth.]

Oh, look~ A delicious cake someone has mistakenly left out in the middle of nowhere. How lucky for me that I love cake in random places♥

[He then chuckles and collects the cake. Curiosity is just trouble sometimes. Just like poorly-made traps set by redheads.]

[Van eyes the cake. It looks delicious, yes, but also suspicious. He hesitates a moment, before picking up a bit of frosting with the tip of a finger. He should be able to tell if there's poison or not, surely.]

[The cage clanged down around Van, to the accompaniment of evil sounding chuckling that made Dist sound sane.]

Van looks up to try and see the source of the cackle and scowls.] Was this your idea of an effective trap?
