Buffy was used to the supernatural. Used to places like this. But it still didn't stop the shiver from creeping up her spine as she entered the place, following the benign creature and the other shadows she assumed were people with the same goals as herself.
She had to do something, she decided to herself. Doing nothing while people were getting horribly maimed fighting monsters too strong for them wasn't her style. She took in the sight, stifling another shiver as she surveyed the area, before turning her attention to the two others there. She had managed to catch the introduction of the man named Marluxia, resisting the urge to roll her eyes a little.
She stepped forward, coming closer to the two of them. "I'm Buffy," she said, without preamble. "So... we gonna do this?"
Not long after he reached the other side of the gate, Angeal met another resident. The voice was one he recognized from an earlier conversation and he nodded towards him. He was one he had hoped to see, and it was fortunate that he was easily found. Although, considering the city remained unchanged, Marluxia hadn't had many successes on his own. He'd barely had time to take in his surroundings, but the SOLDIER imagined that the solution wouldn't be as apparent as the path they had taken to get there

Another figure appeared and walked right past the three without bothering to give an introduction. He recognized each of them, even if he spoke rarely to some himself. The remnant had no faith in these people. He probably wouldn't even stick with them halfway through. If someone was going to fix things, and it was only to help himself, it would have to be him.
Not these fools, who played straight into the puppeteer's hands time and time again. Once this was fixed, it would be quiet again. Later something else would happen. Maybe worse. Kadaj wouldn't let that happen.
He smiled at the area, feeling perfectly at home here. Not because he was currently dead, he reassured himself, but because he would find a way to control it. He spared only one glance aimed at Buffy, smirking. "Scared?" With that, he walked away from the others.
Buffy rolled her eyes at Kadaj's departure, and the remark. She'd pegged him down as a definite psychopath right from the get-go--seeing that he'd come to the Necropolis was not a comforting thought. However, she shrugged it off, and turned her attention back to Marluxia. "So you're saying we find the disruption and get rid of it?"
She paused slightly, considering his question. Fire Plane? Visiting the Necropolis before? Didn't ring any bells; she figured she must've been too new for that. "Nope. I'm lacking in the experience department in that respect."
It didn't surprise him to see more follow, but the young man with the silver hair made him pause. Angeal kept a weary eye on him as he walked by, but like the others, let him pass. Unless Kadaj planned to sabotage their efforts, he had no desire to confront him
