Who: Angeal (
divigate) and OPEN to all the ghostly affected
What: All roads lead to...
Where: The Necropolis.
When: Roughly now.
Leaving hadn't been an easy choice for him. They had been gathering for some time; the creatures who would stare passively while Angeal did what he could to assist those who were being attacked. Yet with the affliction he had taken since they had first appeared, all the SOLIDER could do was watch and hope that they wouldn't add more casualties to their history. Although he could rationalize that he may not have changed the outcome either way. Before his actions hadn't saved the city from destruction, so perhaps it wouldn't have mattered if had he been fighting along side them.
He had been aware that some had followed the monsters to some hidden area, and it soon was becoming apparent that he had no option but to join them. Once he decided, one of those creatures was ready to oblige and practically took him by the hand as if it were a child who was eager to show him what they were hiding.
It was an unexpected path that he was lead on, reaching down into the sewers, undisturbed by any other being they came across. He could still hear the distant sounds of those struggling to survive in the overrun city. Angeal kept his jaw tight while he walked along the tunnel while his thoughts strayed to those he was leaving behind. At least it hadn't appeared to get worse for some time. From what he had seen, those who had become incorporeal had remained that way; none had disappeared completely. As to why... He hadn't confirmed his theory, but he suspected that the balance between life and death was attempting to right itself. If that were the case, it was possible he'd be able to bargain with whoever was waiting on them down there.
When the creature arrived at a plain black gate, Angeal paused. For all of the miraculous things he had heard of from Zack's experiences with the other planes, it was an unremarkable sight. His guide only hesitated enough to give a backwards glance before jumping through it, and after a moment's uncertainty, Angeal followed.
ooc - /cough So sorry for anyone waiting on this! I'll get better at timing these, I swear. ;;
