If your baby hasn't pooped for several days and you get the brilliant idea to feed him oatmeal to get things moving, do it at breakfast and not at dinner.

I would have posted this at 4am when it was actually happening to me but I was too tired to come down and turn on the computer.

Poor Stefan keeps trying to stand up using a box to lean against and then he tumbles sideways and bonks his head.

Stefan fell asleep just before I would have left the house to go to my knitting group, so I decided to attempt going alone. It's only 10 minutes away. I figured I could come home quickly enough if he woke up and was very hungry or fussy. I ended up staying at knitting for almost two hours, I think. Stefan was incensed yesterday at my mother's house that we wouldn't feed him. He really wanted to be at the table and holding utensils. I haven't given him any food yet, though, because he still can't sit unassisted and I know that is one of the signs. Plus, the whole food allergy thing. Stefan is really almost there. He gets up on his knees and then scoots his knees forward. He doesn't move his arms, though, so he falls right over. I keep watching him trying to do it and expecting that that will be the time that he gets it. I guess that has to happen eventually.

Sleep continues to be disrupted by crawling practice.

Stefan is starting to get more hair on his head which is making his head deliciously fuzzy. I keep rubbing my hands on his head. I just can't help myself ( Read more... )

Stefan is very close to rolling over. He lifts his legs up and flops to the side when he's on his back. I think he's made it once of twice, on the bed when I'm next to him, which I think gives him a nudge from gravity ( Read more... )
