I made Stefan a Little Turtle Knits Giving Pixie hat. (It was supposed to be for Niels but I made it too small. It is actually a touch small on Stefan.)

Knitting it was easier than getting a photograph.

It's official, the mitered baby blanket that never was has been reborn as the Mason-Dixon Knitting Moderne Log Cabin Baby Blanket. I didn't do the outer blocks because it was already 25" by 34" and those blocks would have added a lot more than that. Plus, if I wanted to do it, I would have needed to buy more of the yellow and light blue yarn. ( Read more... )

I have strange children.

This morning I could feel the top right tooth edge sticking through. He actually slept okay last night. Or my perception of what is "okay" is skewed.

I also editted the last post, it's his bottom right tooth not left that appeared yesterday.

Stefan has been acting like he has teeth coming in for a while and today, it seems that one has finally broken through! The top teeth look like they were going to win but it was the bottom right tooth that broke through. There's not much to be seen yet but if you put your finger in his mouth you can feel the sharp edge ( Read more... )

Niels has been putting on shows all day. He clips his flashlight tied to a rope somewhere and says, "Ladies and gentlemen, time for the show!" That's pretty much the whole show. Stefan took an unassisted step yesterday! He was standing next to Erik who was laying on the floor on his side. Stefan was mostly using Erik to cruise along but at one point he stood without holding on (which he does regularly these days to practice, I guess) and then took one step forward before grabbing back on to Erik ( Read more... )
