fixing the lady eleanor

This post is mostly for Kristi, since she was the one who knit half of the item in question. It's the Lady Eleanor stole which I started for my mother in July 2005. Kristi pointed out that I don't need to knit my mother a sweater for Christmas if I just finish this. Genius! I keep meaning to ask you how the allergy treatment stuff is going, but I suppose this sort of answers that. Did your hands break out at all?

I haven't had the treatment for wool. The treatments are pretty pricy and right now we're doing foods.

No, just a bit of a sore throat this time.

Thanks! I finally realized that I didn't have to cut right at the edge of where I wanted to remove, I could cut in the middle of that section and ravel back in both directions. I don't know why it took me so long to realize that.

Nothing really yet. I have my eye on a cotton yarn by Knit One Crochet Two, Ty-Dy. I haven't tried it yet because I didn't find it until after I started my yarn diet. :)
