It's crushing, all-encompassing. It fills your lungs and presses it's weight down on your shoulders, suffocating, overwhelming. It's so dark you can't tell

[ His eyes blink open. And then, a couple more times, because with all this darkness no way they're actually open yet, not when the scenery hadn't changed in the slightest. A chill runs straight up Alex's spine and he shivers, half from the temperature and half from having no freaking clue how he got from walking down the halls in Winchester, NY to a pitch-black, cold room with a nasty draft. He moves to sit up- ]

AH- [ And doesn't get very far, seeing as he's lifted his head all of half a foot before it slams into the ceiling of the freezer, rattling his brain. A hand goes to his head. ] Shit.

[ And instead of flesh to flesh, it's cool plastic to flesh and Alex blinks. W h a t. He gives the plastic box in his hand a squeeze and suddenly- LIGHT EVERYWHERE, UGH. Once he gets over the initial squinting, he gives the little electronic letters and numbers on the screen only a cursory glance before using the new flashlight to look around

[ He watches, makes a small noise in fascination as the doors close and the elevator moves.

But still, he turns to give Alex a look. One that says he might have offered his thanks - if he were anyone else. He spares Alistair a glance, the corner of his lips twitching, amused. ]

No, it's basic physics. [ Pulleys and counterweights, man. Is everyone in Europe this braindead? ]

[ When the elevator stops and the doors open, he peeks out cautiously before stepping out, twirling the scalpel in his hand thoughtfully.

He spares them both a single glance before he turns away, starts down the hall - not at all concerned if they chose to follow or not. ]

[ The scalpel twirl is a little unnerving, so he keeps his distance as he follows, but follows none-the-less. As expected, it's a hospital. The ground floor was filled with waiting room chairs and couches. Along with a couple reception desks. But... No people. Hospitals are 24 hour facilities... How could it be completely empty?

He pauses, stopping in the middle of the waiting room to scan, confused. ] Where are the people?

Maybe they're all stuck in bags.

[ Moving down another hallway, opening the first door he comes to. ]

[ He's a little concerned about losing Il Lupo because suddenly splitting up doesn't seem like a great idea. That's always how it happens. You split up and then you get abducted :| So he's wandering behind. ]
