Social Work. Helping others that can't seeming deal with their own problems. Even better, maybe it's therapy. Talking is as much therapeutic to the talker as it can be for the listener. The talker can tell his or her problem to the listener, the listener can give healthy advice and encouragement to the talker, and in the end both come away with ( Read more... )

It's happening again. I'm constantly feeling depressed, down, and all other sorts of bad lately. I take my work home, I take home to work, and to top it all off I'm becoming a gambler. WHO I AM

I am a cynical, pessimistic idealist.  I see the good in everyone, but expect the worst....which means if something pleasant happens I get pleasantly surprised by the outcome.

I enjoy the quiet, but I also enjoy polite company with people with more than a 4 word vocabulary...although knowledge and usage are two totally different things.
