WHO I AM
I am a cynical, pessimistic idealist. I see the good in everyone, but expect the worst....which means if something pleasant happens I get pleasantly surprised by the outcome.
I enjoy the quiet, but I also enjoy polite company with people with more than a 4 word vocabulary...although knowledge and usage are two totally different things.
I am an intellectual, with vast general knowledge that'd probably win me a few grand on Jeopardy...but I also enjoy the strange, colorful humor of adult-themed cartoons.
I enjoy history, watching all sorts of boring (to most of you) shows on the History Channel, Discovery, etc...Then I'll turn right around and watch the dry, hysterical, dirty, and sometimes very true humor of George Carlin.
I fit my astrological symbol (Gemini) in that I can see both sides of the coin, and in fact can act both sides of the coin....and then I don't, getting so single-minded I couldn't see the forest for the trees.
